Door Configurations for 90 Degree Corner Passthrough Chamber

Cleanroom passthroughs with 90 degree corners can be designed with unique door swing directions to avoid obstructions such as adjacent doors. The Smart control panel can be on the inside or outside of the 90 degree bend to simplify install and maintenance.

Infrared Load Sensor

Infrared beams detect objects placed inside the transfer chamber and connect to a remote alarm located up to 200 feet away from the pass through chamber. The crossed red lines depict the non-visible trigger lines between the IR transmitters and receivers.

UV Sanitizing Modules

UV lights safely neutralize microbes on materials and samples within the pass-through chamber using powerful ultraviolet C sanitizing rays.

Support Brackets for Pass-Through Chambers

Stainless steel support brackets are recommended for pass-throughs deeper than 24". Brackets fasten to the wall and the body of the chamber rests upon the horizontal bar; no fasteners are used on the pass-through itself.

Automatic Door—for Hands-Free Operation

Ideal for pharmacy and medical applications, this door is activated by a touchless sensor pad to minimize contamination during sample transfer. Its quiet, low-energy, ADA-compliant electromechanical actuator is installed entirely outside the transfer chamber to simplify cleaning and prevent particle influx. Tested for over a million operations. Typical installation is on “clean” side.

Smart Pass-Through Access Control System

Rerigerated Pass-through Chamber

The interior of the Refrigerated Smart® Pass-Through features a compact ceiling-mounted fan unit to circulate cool conditioned air inside the chamber. The cooling fan system connects to the compressor and condenser system which is externally mounted above the chamber. A drain tube is ported through the wall to carry condensation and prevent leaks.

Removable Slide-Out Shelves

BioSafe EZ-Out stainless steel shelves slide out to provide easy access to materials passed into the pass-through chamber.
