Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) battery system:

UPS systems provide a backup battery-power supply that keeps critical equipment running without interruption when utility power supply is unavailable.

UPS System includes main UPS plus an add-on external rechargeable battery pack for longer runtimes.

Fully assembled plug-and-play design speeds up installation. No time-consuming connection of internal batteries by user required.

Intelligent battery management system extends battery life.

Estimated Runtimes:

180W Load: 123 minutes.

350W Load (max speed): 55 minutes.

NOTE: All estimates based on new, fully charged batteries under typical office environmental conditions.

Front panel LEDs alert you to a variety of performance conditions, including AC line present, automatic voltage regulation, UPS load level and replace battery.

External battery can be “hot-swapped” (safely removed or swapped without shutting down the UPS).

For Power Outages: UPS Protects against all types of power problems including blackouts, brownouts, surges and line noise. In the event of a power outage, the UPS immediately activates without interruption. The UPS keeps your FFU running long enough to either: (1) safely store away contamination-sensitive materials and works-in-progress before shutting down operations, or (2) switch to a back-up power generator.

For Mobile Applications: Use the UPS to create a mobile battery-powered cleanroom on wheels to safely transport sterile materials through a dirty space. The UPS provides adequate time to transfer out of one cleanroom and relocate to another cleanroom in a different part of the facility. With the FFU mounted on top of the cabinet, the battery-powered system supplies uniform HEPA-filtered air flow to prevent airborne contamination while moving the cabinet through a dirty environment. Once the cart arrives at its destination, simply plug the system back into a wall outlet to recharge the batteries.

High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filter: 99.99% efficient at 0.3µm particle diameter.

Electronically commutated (EC) brushless motor with internal microprocessor. EC motor offers high performance, low energy consumption and low noise levels (40 dB).

MODBUS® networking control card with closed-loop control capability supports air pressure, air flow, and particle count sensors.

Motor control panel includes diagnostic indicator lights, manual speed adjustment, test probe jacks, CAT5e ports, control mode switch, and MODBUS® address DIP switch bank.

FDA-approved silicone sealant minimizes leaks for improved efficiency. It is also food-grade and resistant to a wide variety of chemicals and environments for a long service life.

Internal baffling plate and diffuser panel provide quiet uniform air flow across the filter face.

Filters are leak tested in accordance with IEST standards and meet UL 900.

Includes MERV 7 pre-filter to extend service life of HEPA filter.
